ShiftPulse ("the App") is a shift management and health tracking app for medical professionals. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data Collection

ShiftPulse stores all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:

• Health Data: Heart rate, step count, flights climbed, and walking/running distance are read from Apple HealthKit with your permission. This data never leaves your device.
• Schedule Data: Your shift schedules, work patterns, and pay information are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• No Account Required: ShiftPulse does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information.
• No Analytics: We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

Apple HealthKit

ShiftPulse requests read access to the following HealthKit data types:

• Heart Rate
• Step Count
• Flights Climbed
• Walking + Running Distance

This data is used solely to display health metrics during your shifts. It is never shared, sold, or transmitted off your device. HealthKit data is never used for advertising or marketing purposes, in compliance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines.

In-App Purchases

ShiftPulse offers optional subscription purchases (ShiftPulse Pro) processed through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription management and billing are handled entirely by Apple.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed. We recommend backing up your device through iCloud or iTunes to preserve your data.

Third-Party Services

ShiftPulse does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or servers. The only external interaction is with Apple's StoreKit for subscription management.

Children's Privacy

ShiftPulse is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
